Synopsis

Ján Golian was Slovak general and important figure in Slovak National Uprising. The joy of his first son being born is shattered by German occupation of Slovakia. In order to face the enemy, he must not be overwhelmed by his emotions and issues. Only in his final days in prison cell, he finds the answer to his most important dilemma in talks with the German official.
